Hi. I’m Edward Legaspi. Thank you for joining this course. I work in Information Technology for around 12 years, first as a programmer and later as a tech lead and solutions architect. In these set of videos, we will develop a catalog and sellout management system using the Spring technology framework. We will learn how to create a RESTful web service project from scratch and implement the REST APIs by following the latest industry standards. We will explain the importance of microservice architecture and how we can apply it to our project. How we can scale and monitor the services. We will also leverage Elasticsearch for catalog searching. We will learn how to dockerized our services and how we can use Kubernetes to manage and scale our containers. And finally, we will use Travis for continuous deployment on Amazon. I hope you will learn a lot from watching my videos and apply these technologies to your project.
